Winsley Road was previously an unused garage site which was used for fly-tipping in Matson. Contracted by Gloucester City Homes we have built 9 new affordable flats/ houses for the local residents of Gloucester.
The development consists of:
- 4 x one-bedroom flats
- 2 x two-bedroom flats
- 2 x two-bedroom houses
- 1 x three bedroom bungalow
The three-bedroom bungalow has been specially designed to be an accessible home. It includes a wet room with hoists, adjustable workspaces in the kitchen as well as an undercover charging point for mobility scooters.
Construction work on the site commenced in January 2018 and was completed on time in July 2018.

It wasn’t just the quality of workmanship that gave me peace of mind. It was also their attention to detail when it came to health and safety, client communication and ultimately the level of respect that they had for the local community. This development as shortlisted as a finalist in the LABC West of England Awards 2019 for Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development and Best Small New Housing Development.
