The Apiary is a bespoke development in the rural village location of Maisemore. Located only two and a half miles from Gloucester City Centre, it is only a short distance to major railway and motorway networks.
These properties were individually designed to provide a spacious, well designed modern feel, both finished to a high specification. Maisemore is home to a number of different house types, styles, sizes and periods, specific materials were chosen to construct the new houses in order to complement the local vernacular. The development consists of 2 striking contemporary detached houses for the open market.
Both houses include the following:
- A large living room
- 5 double bedrooms (2 with en-suite shower rooms)
- An open plan kitchen diner and family room
- A study
- Gardens to the front and rear of the houses
- A double garage
Previously, the land was once used by local beekeeping apiaries, which were established in 1953. To keep the history and character of the land the new development was named ‘The Apriary’.
Construction started in Spring 2015 and was completed in February 2016. During the first month, the properties had a very successful Open Day which lead to the sale of both of the homes.
