On Friday 12th July 2019 our team headed down to Bristol for the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) West of England Awards 2019. This year we had 6 different developments shortlisted as finalists across 4 different categories:

  • Aqua Constructions Office: Best Change of Use of an Existing Building or Conversion and Best Small Commercial Project
  • Edward Massie Gardens: Best Small New Housing Development and Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development
  • Amberley Road: Best Small New Housing Development and Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development
  • Winsley Road & Matson Court: Best Small New Housing Development and Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development
  • Wellington Street: Best Small New Housing Development and Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development
  • Standish Gate: Best Small New Housing Development and Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development

These awards are held once a year to celebrate the achievements within the construction industry. The awards recognise high level of compliance with building regulations, effective working relationships with LABC surveyors, outstanding craftsmanship, technical innovation, sustainability and high performance, creative problem solving and use of innovative products and skills used.

We are delighted to announce that our Standish Gate, Stonehouse development received Highly Commended: Best Small New Housing Development. This is a great achievement for Aqua Construction and we are pleased that all of these developments have been recognised as examples of high-quality builds.
